Laser hair removal in Puerto Banús, Marbella
A diode laser that acts on the hair follicle to reduce hair growth, area by area, for women and men. Before the first session we assess your skin and hair type and tell you whether the treatment is right for you.

What does it involve?
We use a diode laser that combines three wavelengths (755, 808 and 1064 nm) in a single device, to reach follicles at different depths. The light is absorbed by the pigment of the hair in its growth phase and turned into heat, which acts on the follicle. A built-in cooling system protects the skin during the session.
The aim is a gradual reduction of hair. The number of sessions and the interval between them are decided in consultation, according to the area, your skin type and the colour of your hair. Prices are per area and per session.

How it goes
Consultation and diagnosis
The doctor examines your skin or the lesion, reviews your history and medication, and tells you whether the treatment is right for you. If a lesion needs further tests, we tell you first.
Preparation
We clean the area and, depending on the treatment, apply a cooling gel or an anaesthetic cream. With laser or pulsed light, you wear protective glasses throughout the session.
Session
We apply the device to the area with settings adapted to your skin. You may feel warmth or tingling; the sensation varies from person to person.
Afterwards
Redness or slight swelling is common and generally short-lived. Avoid direct sun, use high-factor sun protection on the area and follow the instructions we give you for the following days.
Good to know
The doctor assesses in consultation whether the treatment is right for you. As a rule it is not performed during pregnancy, on tanned or recently sun-exposed skin, or if there is an infection or a wound in the area. Some medicines make the skin more sensitive to light: please tell us about all your medication, allergies and previous treatments, any tendency to keloid scars or to dark marks after inflammation, and whether you have a pacemaker or another implant.
Your questions
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the area, your skin, your hair and each person. The laser acts on hair in its growth phase, and not all hair grows at the same time, so the work is done over several spaced sessions. We give you an indicative plan in consultation.
How should I prepare?
Avoid the sun and sunbeds for at least four weeks beforehand. Shave the area the day before and do not apply creams, lotions or deodorant to the area on the day of the session.
What does the session feel like?
You may feel warmth or small pricks. You wear protective glasses, we apply a cooling gel and the device’s cooling system makes the session more comfortable. The sensation varies from person to person.
Is it suitable for my skin type?
The three wavelengths allow the settings to be adapted to different skin and hair types. Even so, every case is different: in consultation we assess yours and tell you frankly what you can expect.
Can I go in the sun afterwards?
After each session, avoid direct sun on the area and use high-factor sun protection. If you live in Marbella or spend the summer here, we plan the sessions with you.
