Guinot Hydra Peeling pH
A Guinot ritual that pairs a gentle peel with a hydrating phase, for skin that is dull, uneven in texture or showing signs of age. We begin with a skin assessment and, if you have dark spots, one of our doctors examines them first.

What does it involve?
After cleansing, our team applies a pH-balanced peel solution that helps remove dead cells and supports skin renewal. This is followed by a neutralising phase, a massage and a mask to soothe, hydrate and protect the skin. According to the brand, the formula contains no parabens or GMOs.
The session lasts 45 to 60 minutes and is performed on the face. As a guide, a course of three sessions 5 to 7 days apart is advised; we confirm the exact rhythm after the assessment. Good sun protection is advisable for the following week.

How it goes
Skin assessment
We look at your skin and ask about your routine and what you would like. If the ritual is not the most suitable for you, we tell you and suggest another.
Preparation
In a quiet treatment room, we remove make-up and cleanse the skin to prepare it.
The ritual
Our team carries out the protocol agreed with you, step by step, adapting the products and movements to your skin.
Home care advice
We explain how to care for your skin in the following days, with hydration and sun protection, and how often to come back if you wish.
Good to know
Before each ritual, our team checks the condition of your skin. As a rule we do not perform it on skin that is irritated, broken, sunburnt or has an active infection, such as a cold sore. Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are allergic to any cosmetic, and if you are following a dermatological treatment or have recently had an aesthetic medical treatment. If a mark, a mole or a skin lesion concerns you, one of our doctors examines it first.
Your questions
What aftercare should I follow?
Avoid saunas and steam baths for a couple of days. For one week, avoid sunbeds and prolonged sun exposure, and apply an SPF 25 sun cream. Keep make-up to a minimum for the first few days and do not try new cosmetics.
Does it help with dark spots?
It may help even out skin tone, but any dark spot is first examined by one of our doctors. Depending on its cause, another treatment may be more suitable.
Is it painful?
Generally not. The sensation during the peel varies from person to person.
Is there any downtime?
None is needed. You can return to your daily activities, following the aftercare we give you.
