Guinot Age Summum
A Guinot age-care ritual for the face, neck, décolleté and hands, designed for skin that is losing firmness or radiance. We begin with a skin assessment; if you have dark spots, one of our doctors examines them first.

What does it involve?
The protocol has four steps: a dermabrasion exfoliating cream that removes dead cells and boosts microcirculation, an age-care serum, a specific massage that helps the actives penetrate, and a mask designed for the ritual, for the face and décolleté. According to the brand, the products contain vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and a DNA-enriched serum.
The session lasts 50 to 60 minutes and you can return to your activities as soon as you leave. Its effects do not last for ever: to maintain them, regular sessions and a good home routine with hydration and sun protection are recommended.

How it goes
Skin assessment
We look at your skin and ask about your routine and what you would like. If the ritual is not the most suitable for you, we tell you and suggest another.
Preparation
In a quiet treatment room, we remove make-up and cleanse the skin to prepare it.
The ritual
Our team carries out the protocol agreed with you, step by step, adapting the products and movements to your skin.
Home care advice
We explain how to care for your skin in the following days, with hydration and sun protection, and how often to come back if you wish.
Good to know
Before each ritual, our team checks the condition of your skin. As a rule we do not perform it on skin that is irritated, broken, sunburnt or has an active infection, such as a cold sore. Please tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are allergic to any cosmetic, and if you are following a dermatological treatment or have recently had an aesthetic medical treatment. If a mark, a mole or a skin lesion concerns you, one of our doctors examines it first.
Your questions
How many sessions?
Several sessions a few weeks apart are recommended. We suggest the rhythm after the assessment.
Does it help with dark spots?
It may help the complexion look more even, but any dark spot is first examined by one of our doctors. Depending on its cause, another treatment may be more suitable.
Is it uncomfortable?
Generally not. You may feel slight discomfort with the exfoliation and a warm sensation from the mask.
How does it differ from Lift Summum?
Age Summum works on several signs of age, such as firmness, fine lines and radiance, and includes the hands. Lift Summum focuses on firmness of the face, neck and décolleté. We guide you during the assessment.
